My photo journey started from a desire for Flexibility & freedom

Photographer, Mama, & Your New Friend

Hey! I'm Jessica Brucken. I'm a family and newborn photographer located in Concordia, KS. I have two of the sweetest & sassiest girls, Vaida & Fiona, & a silly & snuggly boy, Lewis. They are hilarious, adorable, & WILD. I am goofy, easygoing, a snack & sweets addict, and I love to make people laugh.

I discovered my passion for photography long before kids but it wasn't until I was pregnant with my third child that I then decided it was time to make my dream a reality. Not only did I have a desire for freedom, but also flexibility, fulfillment, and creativity.

Trust The Process

Your experience is important too

I've wasted a lot of time waiting for the right moment to begin a career in photography. The fear of rejection, perfectionism, and not having everything figured out consumed me. I was getting in my own way.

I am grateful for the path that lead me here. I'm even more grateful for the path I'm on now.

Trusting in your journey is essential. Don't miss your opportunity to capture the wonder and excitement in your children's eyes.

Your experience is just as important as the images themselves and while you are creating a childhood for your kids you are also creating your motherhood.

Trust Takes Vulnerability

Family, motherhood, and newborn sessions are personal and authentic.

Inviting me into your home or a special location to capture your family takes trust. I will walk you through the process so we can get all the jitters out beforehand. This will help create authentic photos.

The truth is. There is beauty in the chaos.

I know you wish you could remember every little detail

Nine months of pregnancy might have felt like too many, or not enough for you. The joys, aches, and beauty of carrying your child was worth it. You won't forget the sleepless nights and surviving the newborn stage. Before you know it they are crawling and you have so many new worries and wishes for them. Though you still remember the way their head snuggled in the crook of your neck and how their hands laid on your chest.

With photographs, you can save those memories and revisit them time and time again.
