Hi, I'm Jessica.

I have two of the sweetest & sassiest little girls, Vaida & Fiona, and my partner and I recently welcomed our third child, Lewis, in February. My children have become my main inspiration. They are hilarious, adorable, and WILD.

I am pretty easy-going, a bit loud, and I love to make people laugh. I get excited over the simplest things. I have the biggest sweet tooth and I am always snacking. I love the kind of tired that comes from a lot of fresh air and a little too much sun. I love the calmness that comes from the rain. I talk a big game about my excitement for the casino but I rarely go. I love a good adventure and my favorite thing to do in the summer is ride around in our side-by-side with my family. I believe good people put their grocery carts away.

My experience with photography started around the age of 10 or 12 with a film camera that my grandma let me borrow when we were on vacation. I spent hours taking photos of the inside of old school buildings, of airplanes, of love letters, and never reaching the end of the film roll. Turns out, my grandma forgot to load the film. HA! Oh my gosh, grandma!! Then there were many Christmas' where my mom or grandma gifted me a new camera. In my first year of college a client surprised me with a beautifully used Nikon FA 35mm camera with an ever so slightly tattered strap and believe it or not, it worked! That was the first professional camera I had ever owned. Receiving it was a surreal yet defining moment for me. I felt like I was on the right path to becoming a photographer. Little did I know the road to a photography career was going to be long and bumpy.

After graduating with a degree in Photography, the inevitable happened. Real-life and the fear of failure. So much uncertainty that I never dedicated 100% of my time to the photography industry because I didn't want to risk my work not being good enough. It has taken me a long time to realize dreams don't work unless you do and your own insecure thoughts get in the way of what you truly want.

I've wasted a lot of time waiting for the right moment to explore the business world of photography. After far too long of listening to the nagging voice in the back of my head that kept saying, "Just start your photography business already! What are you waiting on?" I'm finally here and ready for this journey.

“You did an amazing job and we had an absolute blast! You were so patient with us and handled all of our squirming well. Between hair blowing, bows falling out, and chasing kids we definitely made you work for the shots lol. We absolutely love them all!”
